Leadership by example is important to me in my association with the Board of The Episcopal Foundation of Northern California. By choosing to include planned giving in my personal life I believe I am better able to speak with others about legacy stewardship. It is a personal goal to speak up to dispel the myth that planned giving is only for the ultra rich. It is my belief in planned giving as a viable and appropriate response by an individual to those organizations or projects the person values. It is my desire to support others, especially women, as they explore the meaning of planned giving and how it relates to them. It is my commitment to continue learning about stewardship and planned giving in order to communicate as effectively as possible with others about these matters.
