Thank you for stopping by this page

The transition to a new website is a much needed addition to our means of connecting and sharing information with our family as we also reach out to the greater world through the magic of the World Wide Web.

I see this as a beginning and, for certain, not an end. Websites have become essential assets to those who wish to connect and stay connected, and to reach out to the greater world.  Statistics from 2006 showed that 56% of those visiting a church for the first time, visited that church’s website prior to walking through the front door. That percentage is undoubtedly higher by now. Your parish website has become your “virtual front door” requiring it to be of pleasing design, content rich, easy to use, and welcoming.

The diocesan website reaches out to the world but is more functional as a resource for our family. We intend it to be a place where we can provide our congregations, ministries, and members much needed information and a place to visit where ease of use and content will make it a valuable resource for everyone. You will find some “dead” links, some pages under construction and quite frankly, “some stuff missing”. Work is still being done and it will never be complete. We decided we would turn it on and keep building on the fly. We need your input to make this a better site. What would you like to see?  What can’t you find?  What on the site works well for you? Perhaps we can expand on those good parts to make more of the site better.  Keep in mind, there are limitations as economics are a factor. Send me your comments so we can work toward meeting our unified needs. Click on this link   Email Me  and please type “website” in the subject line.
